My brother has been a resident at the Sun Rise Garden Villas Assistant Living for almost 8 years now. With all the health issues that my brother has, he can be somewhat difficult at times, but the staff is always very patient with him. If I have concerns or questions about my brother, Tom or his staff are always happy to listen and help with whatever the problem might be. I have even had to call at night before and they were very understanding and helpful. Having my brother living here gives me a peace of mind and a comfort because I know he is being taken care of. I can honestly say they truly care about the people who live there and about their health and well-being.
My brother has lived at Sunrise for eight years. Our family had tried different living arrangements for him, but none ever worked out until we found Sunrise. We were blessed to find a home for my brother that includes a warm/cool roof over his head, and one that also provides meals, laundry service, housekeeping, and most importantly a nurse that oversees his medication. We have developed a relationship with the director and his staff, and have an open line of communication to address issues as they arise. Their patience and support of my brother has been phenomenal. They help him work through challenges in his life, keep him safe, and help him maintain his independence. We can’t thank the staff at Sunrise enough for the ongoing care they provide in my brother’s life.”
I came to Sunrise Garden Villas because a friend of mine told me about the facility. I have been here since August of 2020. So far I like the structure here. I also think the price we pay is good because it includes a lot of utilities, such as all bills paid, three meals a day, housekeeping, and much more. Staff is also on property 24 hours a day and laundry service. The staff believes that it is good to interact with others so there is a day program next door to the facility and transportation is included to get back and forth. The day program is a lot of fun cause there are inside activities along with outside activities plus coffee and meals are provided. We are usually at the day program Monday-Friday from 730am-2pm. Snacks are provided, morning medicine and if you have a 2 o’clock medicine our nurse Monica reminds you of when your medicine is due. Thanks to all of our staff for going out of their way and being here for us.
